With the assistance of Sprecher Brewing, we have produced a blend of malts and hops with a high carbonation level which really enhances the fresh and unique taste of El Rey Mexican Style Ale. What separates El Rey from other beers is the emphasis on a beer that pairs well with food. Because of its unique flavor, which one has to taste to appreciate, it’s difficult to be placed in the same category with any of the more familiar labels on the market. El Rey Mexican Style Beer is an ale, but the filtration process lends to its pale color, and its taste is more closely associated with that of a lager. So it is enjoyed by both ale and lager drinkers alike. Adding to its uniqueness is that it can be taken from room temperature and poured over ice and still retains its freshness and flavor. The shelf life of El Rey Mexican Style Ale is 30 months and counting!
